First of all we would like to thank Sifunda Kunye for funding us as Xolani Students so that we may get the chance to go to the Science festival in Grahamstown. We as science students had a wonderful time and we learned a lot about science, we learned things we never knew, things that are interesting like periodic table, how elements form bonds with their electrons in the outer mas shell, we learnt how to use a microscope and we even used a portable microscope for the first time. We also learnt about how planet earth was formed and how the sun was formed 4.5billion years ago. Last but not least we learned about the speed of light and we even made our own plant cells for the first time ever. It was truly a great experience and really benefited through this outing.
