We joined our Sifunda Kunye partner schools, Toise SSS, St Matthews High School, Hendrik Kanise Combined school during the weekend of the 28 July 2018 in completing our bronze level of the presidents awards. We started our hike on the Friday 28de, where we walked on a farm, we passed different rivers, on our second day we woke up very early and walked down to the farm dam where we learned how to make a fire without matches, after we had our breakfast we walked down to the beach, some of the learners were very excited as some have never visited the beach before. The evening we had a braai also known as a BBQ, and concluded our hike on the Sunday morning, The distance was very tough and although we felt like giving up we worked together as a team, and at the end it was worth it…
We will work hard to achieve our goal of GOLD….. In 2019
